No Ice Production
Machine was cycling normally but producing zero ice. Restaurant had been buying bagged ice for two weeks — costing $30–50/day. Kitchen staff noticed heavy white buildup visible inside the machine.

Our Diagnosis
Scale Buildup + Water Valve
Bay Area water is moderately hard. Without regular descaling, mineral deposits had coated the evaporator plate, water distribution system, and partially blocked the inlet valve. Ice was forming but breaking apart before harvest.

What We Did
Full Teardown + Descaling
Complete disassembly. Descaled every component with manufacturer-approved solution. Replaced degraded water inlet valve. Sanitized entire water path. Reassembled and ran through three full harvest cycles to verify.
