Temp Climbing to 42°F
Kitchen manager noticed the three-door reach-in wasn’t holding temperature. Internal thermometer showed 42°F and rising. Compressor running nonstop but barely cooling. Prep ingredients and dairy products at risk.

Our Diagnosis
Refrigerant Leak at Evaporator
Electronic leak detection found a leak at the evaporator coil connection. R-404A charge was significantly low. Compressor was working overtime trying to compensate — running hot and at risk of burnout if left another week.

What We Did
Leak Seal + Full Recharge
Recovered remaining refrigerant. Repaired the evaporator fitting. Pressure-tested the system to verify no other leaks. Evacuated and recharged with fresh R-404A to factory spec. Cleaned condenser coils while unit was open.
