Reach-in refrigerators and display cases are the workhorses of commercial kitchens and retail food operations. A typical restaurant has 3–6 reach-in units on the kitchen line alone, plus merchandisers in the front of house. When one goes down, it disrupts prep workflows and can put food safety at risk.

Display cases in grocery stores, delis, and bakeries serve a dual purpose — they preserve product quality and drive sales through visibility. A warm display case does not just spoil food; it signals to customers that something is wrong. Quick repair preserves both product and customer confidence.

Types We Service

Solid-door reach-in coolers and freezers (1-door, 2-door, 3-door), glass-door merchandisers and beverage coolers, open-air multi-deck cases, deli and bakery display cases, sushi cases, floral coolers, and specialty units. We handle both self-contained units (with built-in compressors) and remote systems (with compressors elsewhere).

Common Problems

The most frequent reach-in issues are condenser coil fouling (especially in kitchens with grease-laden air), fan motor failures, thermostat drift, compressor start component failures, and door gasket deterioration. For display cases, we also see night curtain motor failures, lighting issues, and drain pan problems.
