Mini-Split & Ductless
Installation, Repair & Service
No ductwork? No problem. Ductless mini-splits deliver room-by-room heating and cooling with whisper-quiet operation and exceptional energy efficiency. Perfect for room additions, garages, ADUs, older homes without ducts, and rooms that are always too hot or too cold.
Mini-Split Services
Installation, repair, and maintenance for single-zone and multi-zone ductless systems.
New Installation
Single-zone, multi-zone, and whole-home ductless system installation. We handle load calculations, outdoor unit placement, indoor head selection (wall mount, ceiling cassette, floor mount, or ducted), line set routing, and electrical connections.
Inverter Board Repair
Mini-splits use inverter-driven compressors for variable speed operation. When the inverter board fails, the system stops entirely or throws error codes. We diagnose and replace inverter boards, power boards, and communication boards for all brands.
Drain Line & Pump Service
Mini-split indoor units produce condensate that must drain properly. Clogged drain lines cause water to drip from the unit onto floors and walls. We clean drain lines, replace condensate pumps, and fix leaking indoor heads.
Deep Cleaning
Mini-split indoor units accumulate dust, mold, and bacteria inside the blower wheel and coil. A deep clean restores airflow, eliminates musty odors, and improves air quality. We disassemble, wash, and sanitize the indoor unit thoroughly.
Refrigerant & Compressor
Leak detection, refrigerant recharge, and compressor service. Mini-splits use smaller refrigerant charges than central systems, so even a small leak causes noticeable performance loss. We locate and repair leaks before recharging.
Zone Balancing
Multi-zone systems sometimes heat or cool unevenly between rooms. We verify refrigerant distribution, check individual head performance, calibrate remotes and wall controllers, and ensure each zone delivers the right capacity.
Ductless Mini-Splits: Perfect for Bay Area Homes
Many Bay Area homes were built without air conditioning ductwork. Adding ducts to an existing home is expensive, invasive, and often impractical. Ductless mini-splits solve this completely — each room gets its own indoor unit connected to an outdoor compressor through a small 3-inch hole in the wall. No ductwork, no major construction, no mess.
Mini-splits are also the go-to solution for room additions, converted garages, ADUs (accessory dwelling units), home offices, and bonus rooms. Any space that the existing HVAC system cannot reach or does not cool/heat well is a candidate for a ductless system.
Why We Recommend Specific Brands
We are factory authorized for Mitsubishi Electric, Gree, and Bryant ductless systems. We also service and install Daikin, Fujitsu, LG, Samsung, and all other mini-split brands. Our brand recommendations depend on your budget, room size, noise sensitivity, and aesthetic preferences — not on which brand gives us the best margin.
Single-Zone vs. Multi-Zone
A single-zone system serves one room with one indoor and one outdoor unit ($4,000–$8,000 installed). A multi-zone system connects 2–5 indoor units to one outdoor unit ($10,000–$20,000 installed). Multi-zone works well for whole-home cooling in ductless homes, but each additional zone adds complexity. We help you decide the right configuration.
